Clear Filing Pockets (Vol 3) showcases works by Jeremy Hiah, Ong Xiao Yun, Server Foundation, Woon Tien Wei and Y/X.

This exhibition showcases each artist’s reflection of the world around them through their artworks. Their vision of the world around them can be seen as observations, obessions, thoughts and responses processed through the activities of art making.

Exhibited works discusses a wide variety of themes from Homonyms, Texts, memory, loss, phenonmenons, art or simply the search for beauty and meaning from the everyday.

Often, viewers are told how to look at a work of art. With this show, we would like to invite the viewers to read the works. One can see the work individually or as a constellation of artworks put together and hence creating a new meaning. There will be papers provided for those who would like to pen their interpretations of the work.

Clear Filing Pockets is a Curatorial Workbook series. The series of exhibitions is curated using the metaphor of a filing system where individual works can be re-ordered in a folder and in different configurations.

All the artworks are available for purchase. Entry to the exhibition is free; opening hours: 6-10pm (Tue-Fri), 2-10pm (Sat+Sun), closed on Mon.
