Post-Museum is taking part in this art exhibition which is part of SIFA [http://www.sifa.sg].

We are presenting our latest work, Archive of Future Commons [http://www.facebook.com/archiveoffuturecommons/], which is being shown in Singapore for the first time. The Archive of Future Commons is a collection of publications which would be shared resources of all members of society in the year 2030. These publications contain thoughts, practices and movements from the past and present which would inspire and contribute to the creation of a better collective future.

The exhibition is held from 18 Aug to 4 Sep; opening hours are 11am-10pm (Tue-Sat), 11am-6pm (Sun), closed on Mon. Free admission.

On Sat 27 Aug 3-5pm, we will hold a reading group discussion based on one of the books in the Archive, namely States of Denial: Knowing about Atrocities and Suffering by Stanley Cohen. The discussion will be led by Dr. Jun Zubillaga-Pow, a Singaporean cultural historian and musicologist specialising in Germanic and Southeast Asian cultures of the twentieth century. Please register your participation at http://postread.peatix.com.

There will also be Activating the Archive, a series of readings of books from the Archive by Noorlinah Mohd and team, taking place half an hour before the SIFA performances held in 72-13. If you have tix for those performances, do show up early to watch these!

The Kula Ring was initiated by the Goethe-Institut Singapore as a part of Kultursymposium Weimar 2016 [http://www.goethe.de/ges/prj/ksw_neu/enindex.htm]. Curated by Alfons Hug, the exhibition also features the artworks of Renata De Bonis (Brazil), Reynier Leyva Novo (Cuba), Newell Harry (Australia), Donna Ong (Singapore), Samuel Herzog (Switzerland), Thomas Rentmeister (Germany), and Roslisham Ismail (Malaysia).
