Opening Hours: Fri 5-8pm, Sat+Sun 12-6pm

Print Lab (May – June 2014) was Grey Projects’ first ever Art & Design publication exhibition, featuring an eclectic range of self-published zines and books by artists, art students, designers, writers, architects, and craft artisans. It was also the first opportunity that we know of for self-published creations in Singapore, where veterans and first-timers alike came together to produce a dizzying array of print publications.

Contributors to Print Lab include: artists Tang Ling Nah, Lucy Davis, and Shannon Castleman; writers June Yap, Viviana Meija, and Stephan Black; book artist Eriko Hirashi; as well as students from the School of Art, Design & Media in Nanyang Technological University.

From light-hearted works to galvanizing texts, we have over 50 titles, by over 20 creatives, and we are excited to be showcasing them again, at More than [show] business: Post-PopUp at CCA.

About Grey Projects

Grey Projects is a small art space in Tiong Bahru, Singapore’s oldest public housing estate. Our programming focuses on experimental curatorship, new writing, design propositions and emergent art practices that are neither about being young nor avant-garde. Our research this year looks at the public and public spaces. Outcomes include exhibitions as well as residencies, publications, reading groups, workshops and seminars. As a venue, Grey Projects is a workspace, library, exhibition gallery, studio and residency room.
