A role model is an individual who serves as an example, whose behaviour is emulated by others. We celebrate International Women’s Day by opening our eyes to the women who are around us and who have gone before us. We look for women who have made a difference, open our minds to the possibilities of their lives affecting our own, and think about how we perhaps can also become role models for others.
